Dr. Amber Deckard leads Caron’s Neuropsychological Services and its cutting-edge Neurocognitive Assessment Program, bringing over a decade of hands-on neuropsychology experience to the evaluation and treatment of cognitive, psychological, and substance use disorders. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran turned clinical leader, Dr. Deckard combines military-honed discipline with deep clinical insight to guide a multidisciplinary team focused on evidence-based, neurorestorative care. Her expertise includes the assessment of brain injuries, polypharmacy, chronic pain, dementia, ADHD, and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
Before joining Caron, Dr. Deckard founded a concierge neuropsychology practice and served as Director of Training and clinical supervisor across multiple memory and wellness centers. She holds a Doctor of Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from Nova Southeastern University, where she now also serves as an adjunct professor. Her leadership is rooted in clear communication, rigorous standards, and a belief that resilience and collaboration drive meaningful recovery.
