Professor/Inventor/Founder

Dr. Mark Tommerdahl received his B.S. in Biology at Davidson College and his M.S. /Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and Mathematics at the University of North Carolina. His graduate and post-graduate work in brain neurophysiology led to methods that gave specific insights into brain function that could be measured with vibration based sensory testing. These methods led to the development of the Brain Gauge, a device that is effectively a "lab-in-a-mouse" that can not only test and track brain function, but provide exercises for functional improvements. Dr. Tommerdahl recently retired from his professorship with over 140 peer reviewed publications but continues his research with colleagues around the world who study a wide spectrum of neurological disorders.
