Nikki Jardin is the publisher and founder of Mirador Magazine, an online and print publication created and designed for people experiencing dementia and other cognitive change. Nikki was called to develop the magazine when she couldn't find a leisure-oriented, dementia-capable periodical for an Aunt diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease. Mirador has recently teamed up with Laurette Klier of Nana's Books and Luke Gilligan of the Resense Register to promote Mindful Libraries a collaborative initiative that unites three award-winning publications to build dementia-friendly libraries. Nikki is passionate about keeping lifelong readers and learners reading for as long as possible for cognitive, mental, and spiritual health.
